Participant Recruitment Services

Participant recruitment is the process of finding, screening, and confirming people who match your study criteria. Praxia Insights recruits for surveys, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing across the US and internationally, handling screener design, sourcing, verification, scheduling, reminders, and incentive payments so your study runs on time with the right people in it.

Recruitment is where most research projects quietly fail. The methodology can be sound, the discussion guide sharp, and the analysis rigorous, and none of it matters if the people in the room don't match the audience you're trying to understand.

The failure usually isn't dramatic. You get participants who technically passed a screener but don't actually make the decisions you're asking about. You get no-shows on the day. You get a panel provider who quietly can't reach your audience and sends you adjacent people instead.

We recruit hard audiences, verify that people qualify rather than trusting self-reported panel data, and manage the logistics that determine whether sessions actually happen.

When Another Firm has Already Failed

90 qualified parent-child pairs in 48 hours

A client came to us after another research firm failed to deliver on recruitment and interviews. The study required 30 parent and child pairs on a tight timeline. We launched recruitment immediately and delivered 90 eligible pairs within 48 hours, three times the requirement.

Roughly a third of the recruitment work we take on arrives this way: a panel came up short, a vendor missed a deadline, or an internal team discovered two weeks in that the audience is harder to reach than anyone expected.

These projects are recoverable more often than people assume. The usual problem isn't that the audience doesn't exist. It's that the sourcing approach was wrong for that audience, or the screener was filtering out qualified people, or nobody was managing confirmations.

If you're in that position now, tell us the deadline and the criteria and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable.

Audiences We Recruit

We recruit to screener criteria across consumer, B2B, professional, clinical, and academic populations. Recent studies have required:

  • Healthcare and clinical professionals, including radiologists, specialty physicians, and clinical staff, for interviews on imaging technology and care workflows

  • Senior executives and decision-makers, from VP through C-suite, recruited across the US, Europe, and Asia for a study on how executives evaluate technology vendors

  • HR and benefits leaders, including those responsible for menopause programs, women's health benefits, and employee wellbeing initiatives

  • Technology buyers and B2B professionals, including SaaS decision-makers, procurement stakeholders, and product evaluators

  • Parents, children, and family units, recruited and scheduled as matched pairs

  • Creative and media professionals, including working musicians, producers, and video creators, recruited at national scale

  • Niche consumer segments, including luxury jewelry buyers, high-end athleisure customers, and other high-income specialty markets

International Recruitment

We recruit outside the US regularly, including across Europe and Asia. International work introduces problems domestic recruitment doesn't have: time zone coordination across three or more regions, incentive delivery that actually works in the participant's country, and screening for role equivalence when job titles don't translate cleanly between markets.

Global Executive Recruitment

Recruited VP through C-suite professionals across the US, Europe, and Asia for a study on executive decision-making when evaluating technology vendors. Screened for genuine purchasing authority rather than title alone, and scheduled sessions across regions.

Participant Incentives

We administer incentives through Tremendous, which supports international recipients and removes the payment friction that stalls most cross-border studies.

Recruitment at Scale

1,000 music professionals, nationally

National recruitment of 1,000 music professionals for a survey study conducted in partnership with Berklee BEATL and Adobe. Recruitment combined Respondent and Pollfish with promotion through public music communities.

Large-N recruitment is a different problem from niche recruitment. The constraint stops being "can we find these people" and becomes "can we maintain quality at volume." Sample composition drifts, fraudulent responses increase, and a single unmonitored channel can skew the whole dataset.

We monitor composition against quotas throughout fielding rather than discovering the problem at analysis.

Recruitment timelines depend almost entirely on how hard the audience is. General consumer studies move fast. Credentialed professionals take longer. We'll tell you which you have before you commit to a deadline.
